Meet Lia! Lia is a full figured cat who thinks she is a human. This can be seen by the way she lazes about and uses the arm rests on chairs. You will see a picture of her laying on her back presenting her belly. Many think this is an invitation to rub her belly...and it is... until she decides to switch gears and gnaw on your hand for a while (she is very good about not biting hard). Her love of gnawing humans was one of the primary reasons for her long stint at the shelter (she was there for over a year). Children would start petting her and she would respond with a loving nibble... children and parents both are not fans of this. However, under her matronly demeanor and apparent taste for human flesh, she is a big softy and loves to cuddle up to pretty much anyone. |
